POSITION: The Senior Manager, Warehousing (DP1) will be responsible for supporting DrinkPAK warehousing and distribution activities in Southern California.  The footprint currently includes 9 buildings (totaling 1.4 million sq. ft.), a logistics fleet for inter-facility transfers, and a staff of approximately 200 warehouse employees and drivers.  This individual will be charged with driving operational excellence and efficiency across the various sites and shifts.  The successful individual is experienced in implementing processes and structures to support large volume, highly complex warehouse operations. 
 

LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.  The position is fully on-site.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Oversee four shifts supporting 24/7 warehousing and logistics activities for DP1 in Santa Clarita, CA. 

• Directly manage, hire, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors and leads to deliver best in class performance and a safety culture. 

• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

• Assign warehouse personnel according to schedule demand to support production needs.  

• Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy. 

• Coordinate, monitor, and adjust warehouse material planning protocols to support production and supply chain activities. 

• Implement asset utilization plans to support optimization of the company/shuttle and forklift assets across shifts and buildings. 

• Implement best-in-class 3PL processes and procedures and leverage space planning models to maximize space utilization and improve distribution and fulfillment efficiency. 

• Oversee warehouse operations to deliver on key KPIs including inventory accuracy, warehouse utilization, slow moving and obsolete inventory, and precision of inventory transactions. 

• Implement technology and data systems to effectively streamline and drive efficiency through both the ERP and WMS systems.  

• Publish KPI scorecards and management reporting tools; analyze data and make data-driven improvements.
