Purpose of our program:
We are excited to provide a comprehensive and cross functional first approach to the function and an end-to-end eye for business from a Finance perspective to early career professionals joining our team into a 2-3 year program, with a specific career development plan, including 3-4 fast paced rotations across different roles plus a dedicated faculty including coaching and mentorship from Senior Leaders. Once successful, you will continue your professional path within our NAM organization and possibly, in any other Diageo market if you have the desire to develop a global career.
Purpose of Role:
The FLDP Senior Analyst will match the needs of other business divisions/functions with those in finance to build financial reports and tools so team members can access, in a friendly way, to all financial data/metrics they need to perform their tasks. Also, with these reports and tools, they will analyze the data and propose investment opportunities to become more effective and efficient with it.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
- Responsible for running analysis on share data highlighting top gainers/gainers of share and category.
- Act as an entrepreneur running different and new analysis mixing available information to driver insights.
- Support in key elements of financial planning, closing, and reporting process for P&L
- Find opportunities, risks and initiatives to drive efficiency in reporting through digital tools and provide standard process financial analysis and insights to support decision making.
- Provide support in execution business strategy and converting strategies into annual operating plans with recommended prioritization.
What will you need to succeed in this role?
- Good accounting, planning, reporting, analysis, and controls understanding.
- Building and using relationships across different functions.
- Being proactive, curious, with excellent judgment and drive to influence and challenge the status quo.
Which skills and experience are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, 0-2 years of financial or accounting experience
- Excellent leadership, analytical and planning skills.
- Shown ability to distill out sophisticated business issues, provide logical and clear plans for action.
- Skills and ability to lead and influence organizational change.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
