NV5 Florida Infrastructure team is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Pursuit/Proposal Manager to support our Central and Southwest Florida Offices. This position requires a minimum of five years of AEC marketing experience. The Marketing Pursuit/Proposal Manager is responsible for the development of proposals and statements of qualifications, preparing teams for shortlist interviews, and managing / quality control of the work of technical, proposal and graphics staff assigned to the pursuit from NV5 and partner firms to complete, compliant, and compelling submittals.
This position is backed by a team of robust marketers, graphic designers, and communication professionals who collaborate for success, promote strengths, and support each other's growth within NV5. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, market-focused professional who understands deadline-driven work and is a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team environment. The job entails working on multiple assignments in tandem, with overlapping schedules.

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with Practice Leaders, Project Managers, and subject matter experts to determine go/no-go decisions, pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, manage the proposal process, develop proposal responses and assist subject matter experts in preparation for client interaction, industry presentations and trade shows.
- Drive the overall proposal process from start to finish, including: lead kick-off meetings and color reviews.
- Manage the capture plan, document cataloguing, individual and team deadlines, and meeting facilitation. Tasks include writing, editing, note taking, informational research, ability to learn basic technical concepts, development of graphics concepts and coordination with other team members.
- Develop sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subconsultants, at events and business networking opportunities.
- Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
- Write supporting sales materials including project descriptions, resumes, market segment overviews, and executive summaries, etc.
- Develop familiarity of company project experience and relevancy to project pursuits.
- Support Business Development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
- Manage multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.
- Organize marketing material for ease of use.
Qualifications
Education, experience, and skills.
- B.A. or B.S. in Liberal Arts or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years’ experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts.
- Strong project management and organizational experience
- Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, InDesign / Adobe Creative Suite experience. Other graphics software and database experience are also desired.
- Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vantagepoint, a plus.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Effective proposal management skills, including strong attention to detail, planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
