Position Overview
The company is looking for a team player with an exceptional job record that can wear a lot of hats, manage a small team and be strategic.  The Vice President Finance position will be responsible for managing the accounting, internal reporting, and cash management functions, among others. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting leader, possessing a combination of public accounting and SaaS industry experience, and strong knowledge of current financial process automation applications.  For the right candidate, this will be a highly energizing and rewarding career opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the Accounting team with direct responsibility for Accounting Operations, Revenue, Tax and Technical Accounting
• Leading and driving an efficient monthly, quarterly and annual close process
• Timely delivery of internal financial and operational reports
• Reviewing, designing and implementing accounting processes and procedures to ensure integrity of financial results
• Leading annual financial audit and other engagements requiring independent, third party reviews
• Assessing and reviewing GAAP accounting practices, including completion of review of practices in accordance with ASC 606
• Fostering relationships and partnerships across departments optimize how financial information can be shared and used by various functions across the business
• Evaluating current processes and procedures and recommending new practices and automation systems to drive efficiencies within the department
• Assisting on prospective acquisition due diligence and evaluation, and leading integration of all G&A functions of completed acquisitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience; current CPA preferred
• Proven track record of developing high-performing teams
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting and revenue recognition in a software company
• Recent experience in global, public company or large private company accounting leadership roles with SaaS or other subscription-based business models
• Prior experience accounting for international subsidiaries including transfer pricing
• Strong experience using and implementing current financial management applications such as NetSuite, Concur, Tipalti, Adaptive, SaaSOptics
• Experience working under the demands of an at-scale, private equity backed company focused on driving disciplined growth
• M&A diligence and post-acquisition integration experience
• Experience interacting with all levels of an organization
