Quality Manager
In this role, the Quality Manager will provide leadership in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement by ensuring that the company meets or exceeds customer requirements by developing, improving and maintaining a consistent methodology for compliance and continuous improvement. Must be able to conduct and oversee the Corrective and Preventive Action Process. Provide leadership for continuous improvement and overall management of the company's Quality Business System ensuring compliance with corporate requirements, current ISO 9001 requirements and all other applicable quality standards
Develop and deploy quality initiatives ensuring success of business goals and objectives. Participate in and coordinate Kaizen Events. Communicate to the Leadership Team improvement ideas, status of projects and other information needed for success. Maintain the New Product Development Stage Gate Process and lead the interaction with customers on all Quality related actions. You will support plant quality processes while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement. The incumbent will be a key driver of the corrective action and continuous improvement processes to reduce scrap, improve productivity, resolve customer complaints and develop a zero-defect culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of quality processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel
- Be responsible for safety/environmental issues involving quality
- Partner with management to implement continuous improvement projects; assist with KAIZEN events
