HybridWhat you will do
The Principal Scientist, Facial Moisture Treatment, will have End to End responsibility for product development across skincare facial treatment categories. Strong communication skills together with the ability to manage complexity are must have prerequisites. The candidate will provide strategic and operational skills in the execution of regional and global projects, including analyzing the new consumer insight to build a strategic innovation pipeline. This role will work independently to perform research of a complex nature where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various identifiable factors in one or more areas. Responsibilities will also include development of more junior scientists.
Key Responsibilities
Lead innovative end-to-end skincare development projects working with partners internally and externally.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance standards are met
Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive product innovation
Present technical learning plan and risk assessment to senior management and key stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in the development of new materials, processes, and products to ensure quality and efficiency
Define, design, and implement new skincare features
Troubleshoot, identify root cause and define a design of experiments to implement solutions to technical problems
Ability to make decisions quickly in multi-disciplinary field and evaluate risk taking
Draft and execute peer reviewed manuscripts, tech reports and patent fillings
