The Role:

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer role will report to the Reporting and Analytics Manager and will work within the reporting team. This role will be responsible for translating business needs into technical specifications and building BI solutions. The role involves improving existing BI systems and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data-driven solutions. The BI Developer will work collaboratively and cross-functionally, including with an experienced team of in-house clinicians, engineers, customer success executives, and product. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehousing
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format
  • Build and maintain data models to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the data
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Assume a leadership role in collaborating with teams of analysts and engineers to deliver high quality data-driven products and act as a mentor to junior colleagues
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities
  • Building and maintaining a single source of truth for metrics used across the organization
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data used for analysis
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends and technologies in BI, data analytics, and data visualization to improve our BI capabilities continuously
