Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer I within Supplier Quality you will be engineering review of drawings and related documentation to determine appropriate quality requirements for purchased parts.

What You Will Do:

• Assisting in resolution of requests from suppliers and buyers on supplier quality requirements and approved supplier issues. 
• Working closely with members of supplier quality, supply chain, program quality and engineering to address issues preventing material procurement.
• Creation and publishing of supplier quality performance metrics / data. This will include analyzing supplier defect and performance data to identifying trends, key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinating with incoming inspection on disposition of nonconforming material provided by suppliers.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the systems and information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Preferred major in Systems Engineering
• Previous work experience, electrical or test engineering experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability in developing solutions to issues using an organized systemic approach
• Experience developing and analyzing data, using the information to understand current state and predict future performance.
• Experience with SAP

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
