Your Role
The Digital Experience, Design and Content (DEDC) team’s Cerulean design system team streamlines design at scale, creating a cohesive and user-friendly experience across our digital products. The Digital UX Strategist, Principal will report to the Cerulean design system Senior Manager. In this role you will work cross-functionally within DEDC and across the Customer Experience and Transformation teams to integrate product design and UX content design capabilities.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a full-stack Product Designer (including service design, experimentation, and AI-informed design practices)
- Combine UX content design, AI-enabled content optimization, and conversion-optimized content experiences in service of our digital growth objectives
- Bring advanced capabilities in AI-augmented design, continuous discovery, service design, and cross-platform content systems
- Work cross functionally to advance content guidelines, patterns, and best practices across the organization
- Advance Cerulean design system adoption and best practices across the organization so Cerulean continues to be a centralized hub for digital teams
- Serve on special projects, as needed
- Actively coach other team members
- Bring a solution mindset to tackle complex problems
- Serve as a leader on the team who can work independently and take accountability and ownership
Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
Requires advanced AI, UX Writing, and experience building multi-platform content systems
Requires experience defining and maintaining content standards, guidelines, and patterns that ensure clarity, consistency, and usability across the design system and all product areas
Requires deep understanding of how content guidelines, component naming, and usage rules drive consistency and usability across a multi‑product ecosystem (including taxonomy, labeling, and page‑level hierarchy)
Requires knowledge of documenting components (purpose, usage, content guidance, and edge cases), naming alignment across platforms (e.g., AEM core/container distinctions).
Requires experience scaling design systems
Requires working knowledge of WCAG, plain language, and inclusive writing best practices; ensures component copy and docs meet accessibility standards and brand voice/tone
Requires experience operating within Agile ceremonies and cross‑team planning for design‑system evolution
Ability to manage and effectively communicate with stakeholders
