What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners:

In compliance with EI regulations, Senior Teacher’s assistance will assist with completion of all required documentation of each students’ progress and development (EI session notes, quarterly reports, justification letters, and child outcome summary exit forms) using the ABA methodology. Senior Teacher’s assistance provide ongoing clinical support to Center-based teacher Aides (TA) as part of the ACP-EI supervision model to promote professional development and ensure quality of services.

• ABA experience is a plus (if not will train)
• Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum a plus.

Direct Clinical:

• As assigned, Senior Teacher’s assistance will deliver ABA instruction to student/s.
• Assist classroom teacher in Conducting initial and/or post intervention assessments for student or assign qualified staff to conduct them.

Classroom Management:

• Assist with Ensure 1:1 coverage for every student (student assignment is rotated on a monthly basis).
• Assist classroom teachers with Ensure that classrooms are clean, materials are organized, and learning sections are labeled according to day care regulations.
• Assist with Recording daily attendance for each student across all sessions.
• Ensure body checks are being conducted 2x for every child daily by the TA

ABA Clinical Responsibilities:

• Assist with Designing individualized instruction based on assessments and each student’s IFSP functional outcomes and objectives.
• Assist teacher with Monitoring the implementation of ABA programs (i.e. Binder reviews)
• Participate in monthly clinical meetings.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education

******Candidate must have met requirements to obtain NYS certificate for students with disabilities birth to grade 2 within 6 months of company hire**********

• Employees in this role are considered essential workers as part of the critical infrastructure.
• No prior criminal history.
• Must meet all DOH EI and daycare requirements.
