Summary: 

Manages and administers all aspects of the Cumberland Valley Youth Empowerment Services program and all of its components.

 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Encourage/Provide Personal and Professional Development opportunities for your Team (employees and volunteers), including coaching, team building, staff development, and discipline.
• Leadership and development of the program, and their components, including developing assigned program components in line with CAP’s mission, strategic plan, and outcomes models.
• Management of assigned programs and their components including recordkeeping, finances, contract management, required internal/external reports, etc.

Qualifications

Education: 

Associates in a related field Required

Bachelors in a related field Preferred

 

Years of Experience: 

1 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience

 

Certifications and Licensure: 

Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required

CAP Driving Certification* (or Ability to Obtain within first 90 days) Required

*In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident. 

CDL- Commercial Drivers License Class C with P and S endorsement (or ability to obtain) Required

CPR and First Aid (or ability to obtain) Required

 

Physical Requirements 

Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk

Lift 70 lb from floor to waist

Carry 50 lb for 240 ft

Push with 30 lb of force 6 ft

Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance

Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses

Have good hearing capabilities

Ability to interact with youth and teens in games and sports activities
