System Director Financial Operations

Job Objective: This position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the healthcare system, including the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, alignment of financial systems with the Electronic Health Record (EHR), budgeting, cost accounting and long-range financial planning. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, compliance with regulatory requirements and supports the financial health of the organization through effective management and strategic planning. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision and values of Logan Health.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field required.  Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in accounting within a healthcare setting required. 
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a leadership position required.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards as well as healthcare budgeting, productivity and cost accounting required.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading financial operations in a healthcare organization preferred.
