POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for analyzing financial and non-financial data with a goal of creating actionable information for decision makers. These analyses could be recurring or ad-hoc. In addition, this position will take a lead role in implementing process improvements within the Finance Group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze financial and non-financial data with a goal of creating actionable information for decision makers
  • Serve as the lead Finance participant for accounting and analyzing benefits
  • Direct staff regarding the detailed accounting requirements for benefits
  • Participate on teams related to relevant projects
  • Serve in lead role in implementing process improvements within the Finance Group
  • Assist other finance team members as needed, such as year-end audit

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Support corporate efforts for safety and government compliance
  • Support and follow all corporate policies and procedures
  • Actively seek opportunities to update knowledge and develop professionally
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and data
  • Ability to effectively work as part of a fast-paced and highly motivated team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
