The work:
As a Data Center Monitoring Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our data center infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and maintain the health, stability, and security of our data center environments. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. On-site Support: Provide on-site support with installation, maintenance, and monitoring of physical equipment that could include servers, appliances, network equipment, cable management, rack configuration, power setup and core data center infrastructure.
Here us what you need:
- Ability to lift (up to 25lbs), rack, and safely move data center infrastructure up to 50lbs.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networking, and power/cooling systems
- Familiarity with data center management tools, monitoring software, and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques in a data center environment
- Experience with incident management, change management, and problem management processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, SevOne, Extra Hop).
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $105,200 - $234,900
Colorado: $105,200 - $202,900
New York: $97,300 – $234,900
Washington State: $112,100 – $215,900
