The Principal Analyst, Security will help develop, administer, and maintain the program’s security policies and procedures in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

What You Will Do

  • Full understanding of applicable Government manuals (NISPOM, DoD Security Manuals, etc.)
  • Participates in the administration and coordination of multiple security programs/activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
  • Identifies program issues and implements corrective actions to identified security problems as directed.
  • Conducts security briefings and maintains security education programs.
  • Works closely with Program Management to identify security requirements and vulnerabilities.
  • Reviews security program requirements for efficiency and standardization.
  • Acts as a liaison with government agencies / organizations to ensure contract security compliance.
  • Participates in preparation of security proposals.
  • Participates in planning and preparations of new security programs.
  • Partners with various government agencies to ensure corporation is compliant with directives and regulations and obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
  • Organizes, coordinates, executes, and interprets required research to achieve stated security goals, including furthering the industrial security discipline within the organization.
  • Investigates security incidents and violations relating to classified programs.
  • Implements corrective actions to identified problems.
  • Ensures accuracy of security databases.
  • Assists in all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
  • Develops, implements and manages programs across the company including off-sites.
  • Assist with local security training
  • Provide local Visitor Control and meeting support
  • Create, scan, maintain, and organize security documentation, tracking, and database information
  • Assist with Physical Security inspections, testing, and construction
  • Assist with Physical Security Documentation and approvals
  • Escorting personnel in secure areas

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant security experience OR absence of a degree 4 years of relevant experience. 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous experience as a security professional supporting SAP and/or SCI programs.
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, and/or ICD 705.
  • Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
