Job Description
The Technical Support Analyst will support IT Film Production, Location Accounting, and studio clients. This position requires a service-oriented person with a very good eye for details with updating inventory and testing/configuring hardware assets. The ideal candidate will need to be able to operate efficiently with a high volume of requests in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Teamwork is critical and they must be willing to tackle unique challenges head-on.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Image and configure multiple Mac and PC desktops and laptops to NBCUniversal standards and department parameters, based on the type of service the client will be using.
- Configure and update scanners and printers with firmware and test accordingly.
- Update inventory with fixed asset computer equipment including but not limited to computers, monitors, printers and accessories.
- Physically unpack and move hardware assets (~ 65 lbs) in and out of storage.
- Securely pack and ship computer equipment using domestic/international standards to production locations worldwide.
- Tracking of hardware internal components.
Qualifications
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, including IOS devices, i.e., iPads.
- Strong O365 products: Outlook, Word & Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams
- Skills to efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose basic issues for computers, peripherals, Wi-Fi & network.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy hardware up to 65lbs.
- Applicant must be able to process requests at a quick rate expecting much change.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy as well as an understanding regarding what is being asked.
- Strong communication/collaboration and ability to share and brainstorm solutions with team members.
- Experience in remote desktop apps is a plus.
- Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
- Candidate must be dependable as the responsibilities of this job are demanding and constant.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and high-pressure deadline driven environment and prioritize importance of tasks.
- This job demands a hands-on candidate not afraid of challenging situations.
- Diplomacy – The ideal candidate will maintain positive relationships with tact and professionalism even in the most difficult or challenging situations, providing excellent customer service.
- Experience working in a studio film production environment or similar fast-paced business.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000; bonus eligible, not long-term incentive eligible.
