Network Engineering Team Leader (IT Solutions)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Greek IT Group that provides highly specialized IT Solutions, is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team as Team Leader.

Location: Athens (Northern Suburbs), Greece (You will be requested to travel on a frequent basis, for on-site client visits)

You will be the Head of a System & Network Engineers’ Team, and you will be responsible for the Presales Support, Built of Materials, and clients’ technology infrastructure. You will also ensure the highest level of the provided technical services by visiting clients’ premises, for the installation, configuration, support and maintenance of operating systems, network, and other technology infrastructure.

More specifically, you will:

• Perform presales support with customer visits, enquire with customer IT personnel & analyze customer needs
• Investigate corporate customer needs, and translate business & technical requirements into technical proposals that meet customer requirements
• Design and optimize unique IT architectures within the framework of enterprise solution requirements
• Prepare BOM, lead the technical discussion and follow up any open points with customers, to get the sales orders executed
• Coordinate tasks and drive actions across teams within a consortium and with external partners in a multinational environment

• Apply Service and project management skills to lead new installations, incidents and customer tickets
• Be responsible for the correct and effective ticket resolution within established SLAs with both internal and external vendors
• Ensure the team follows best practices and maintain service level agreements
• Act as point of contact and communicate project/service status to all parties
• Act as a second level support for technical team, when needed

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or any relevant field
• 8+ years of experience in the ICT Sector in a relevant position
• Experience in addressing ICT issues raised by clients
• Excellent knowledge of Network Infrastructure, System Servers, Storage, Virtualization and Firewalling

• Familiarity with vendor products of HP, Aruba, CISCO, Microsoft, Dell
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer oriented mentality
• Ability to travel on a frequent basis within Greece (approximately 2 short-period trips per month)
