Lunar Transportation: This role is part of the Lunar Transportation business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.   

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers you will work at the intersection of program management, finance, scheduling and engineering, as well as supply chain, and production organizations. You will support our Lunar leadership team and work to improve team effectiveness and coordination. The MK2/SLD Integrator reports to the MK2/SLD PMO Senior Manager and support all activities within the MK2/SLD domain to effectively execute program operations.   The integrator works closely with other PMO team members, PP&C, and Finance, as well as members of our engineering teams to ensure the development and execution of program plans.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • General support of all activities in the domain of the SLD/MK2 Business Operations Manager as needed to support program execution.
  • Support Program operations reporting with a focus on the performance of financial, organizational planning, staffing, tasking, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with the Data Analytics team to develop, gather and maintain program metrics in support of Rhythm of Business (ROB) reporting.
  • Generate, record, and track relevant program action items in ITS.
  • Support coordination and setup of DAC planning events with the vehicle management teams/IPTs and in coordination with the MK1 PMO Integrator and IPTs.
  • Support SLD/MK2 Business Operations Manager setup and coordination of National Team and NASA Customer reviews.
  • Maintain oversight of the Airtable roster, demand and all relevant data.  Monitor/ensure data integrity.  Coordinate with the IPTs and sub-system managers to highlight areas of concern and provide training as required.
  • Support IDE monthly forum for tracking and communicating Program needs and issues.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passion for Blue Origin’s mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
  • B.S./B.A. degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management
  • Experience in establishing business and product development processes.
  • Experience in conducting/supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability building trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results.
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience working collaboratively in small and large teams on fast-paced projects.
  • Ability to comfortably work in a rapidly changing ambiguous environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in program/project management on aerospace hardware development programs.
  • Experience with tracking and managing issues in the JIRA tool suite.
  • Experience with Confluence/Wiki Site development and operations.
  • Experience Agile development methodologies and participating/leading agile work sessions and creating metrics to help track progress.
  • Familiarity utilizing the Microsoft TEAMS toolset.
  • Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
  • Experience leading change management activities.
  • Experience with risk management processes and execution (technical and schedule).
  • Experience in organizational change management and setting up effective design/rollout of new business processes.

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is$108,360—$151,704 USD
