The Opportunity
This position works out of Orlando, FL location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges.
As the Process Excellence Manager, you will plan and implement Company’s projects and processes to assure the development and implementation of enterprise software, business process and related functions (communications, office systems, production activities, etc)
Principle Responsibilities

Applies Lean process management principles for building a company culture that supports continuous improvement. Plan a long-term approach to daily work that encourages small, incremental changes in process operations to improve quality and efficiency
Create value stream maps which includes all the value streams in the process.
Understand the whole process and improve it according to lean strategies and techniques.
Manages a team of Process Analysts to support the process definitions and work instructions for smooth business operations
Maintains dialogue with functional departments on data processing matters in order to evaluate needs, monitor service, advise on problems, encourage data processing educational opportunities, and ensure smooth conversions from manual processes to computerized systems, or from existing computer systems to new and improved ones.
Reviews policies and procedures for consistency across corporate wide entities.
Assists with training when required
Maintains relationships with representatives of firms providing data processing hardware, software and support services.
Develops strategic plans identifying technology to support a modern fulfillment process.
Follows all regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, and security standards in accordance with government agencies including all SOX and HIPAA requirements.
Maintains a culture of accountability by setting clear objectives for all employees in areas of responsibility through regular follow-up, variance tracking and results.
Responsible for the selection of associates, setting of expectations, and for the motivation and development of new hires within areas of responsibility.
Conducts supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable labor laws.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing one or more operational function and 3 or more successful implementation of a major business improvement projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline is required, industrial engineering preferred
Master’s degree preferred
