The Sr. Director, HRBP will act as a trusted advisor, proactively engaging with leadership to influence, create and execute the people strategy that will positively impact the organization. This position will report to the Head of HR for North America and will be responsible for leading a team of indirect reports to support the business. This critical role will support the Americas Enterprise Services (NAM ES), NAM Marketing, Sales Operation & Communications and USA Imaging Sales organization which is comprised of a workforce of approximately 700 employees. This role is located in Malvern, PA (USA) or can be remote within the United States.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of:
- Creating and executing an HR people strategy in-line with the overall business strategy that positively impacts performance, culture, employee engagement and growth.
- Ability to influence leaders and provide strong partnership on key business decisions
- Successfully demonstrate partnership across all HR centers of excellence in designing and delivering innovative HR solutions in core areas such as Total Rewards, Performance Management, Talent Management and Development, Strategic Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition.
- Being an advocate for talent and successfully developing both talent and succession for client organization and within HR function.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Builds strong, trusted relationships with client leadership teams, striking a delicate balance between consulting, advising and being a team member.
- Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and ethics representing the HR organization regardless of reporting relationship.
- Strong strategic engagement with clients in areas of leadership coaching, consultation, guidance on people management, organization design, engagement, talent development and workforce planning.
- Coach, lead & develop indirect reports on broad HR topics such as talent development and succession planning, organizational changes, investigations & ER complaint mitigation, positive employee relations, management coaching, compensation programs, roll-out of global & country HR COE initiatives.
- Lead all culture & engagement initiatives that support the business in its innovation and growth objectives.
- Proactive collaboration with leadership teams to understand the business objectives, challenges, opportunities and facilitate HR solutions and people strategies to address those challenges.
- Collaborate with peer HRBPs through cross team HR Talent development, project work, best practices, & trends and deliver impactful results.
- Ability to travel as needed
The successful candidate will possess:
- Ten (15) plus years of broad HR experience in areas such as business partner, total rewards, employee relations, performance management, workforce strategy, talent management, organizational development and labor relations.
- Experience with applicable human resources-related federal regulations, labor relations and the law governing collective bargaining and employment
- Strong decision making and judgement, oral and written communication and business acumen skills, to drive initiatives that improve organizational performance
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers locally and virtually
- Strong change management skills demonstrated through prior work experience
- The ability to influence; establish and maintain effective relationships and gain reputation as trusted advisor and business partner.
- The proven ability to work in highly matrixed organization preferably in a global environment.
- Ability to lead multiple projects and participate on multiple project teams
- BS/BA in related discipline required, advanced degree / SHRM Certifications a plus.
