About the role
We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Horticulture students!
Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students.
This role may require travel between our Wollongbar and Kingscliff campuses.
About You
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold the appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum of a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent with a commitment to maintain technical currency.
- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence
