Welcome to Greendale, Indiana! Greendale is one of two gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site has the capability to manufacture traditional gelatin gummies as well as 100% plant-based pectin gummies for nutritional supplements and nutraceuticals. With extensive development and manufacturing expertise and a wide range of flavors, shapes, sizes, and colors available, we can work with complex ingredients to help create engaging new products consumers will love.
The Production Coordinator is responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks. It requires the ability to work independently with little to no supervision. The Production Coordinator requires the ability to interact with all levels of staff with an elevated level of professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Expert level of written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
The Role
Provide support for the production management team by monitoring/tracking attendance and training reports of production employees.
Provide clerical support for the Finance Department.
Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as Business Unit Leaders.
Handles confidential and non-routine information.
In partnership with human resources, supports management of Employee events (Years of Service Awards, Annual Holiday Party, etc.)
Prepares various confidential departmental reports as assigned by General Manager.
Collects information, compiles into standard or non-standard format, prints, proofs and distributes to appropriate company personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in business field preferred.
2+ years' experience in an office environment with adequate knowledge of Microsoft office.
Must demonstrate the ability to organize and manage multiple functions and schedules under stress and with changing priorities with the ability to meet ongoing deadlines required.
Must always demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to present a professional approach to problem solving.
Maintains full and complete confidentiality of employee, team and business information as required.
Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, when necessary, knowledge of HR Law and practice, employee orientation.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
The employee is required to sit, climb, or balance and taste or smell.
