Your passion for being an interactive business partner combined with your strong data analysis skills and optimization of efficiencies will serve you well in this key finance position.</p><p>You will be part of site management teams, as well as a global team of Finance-professionals, in a dynamic and rapidly changing global business environment. You are not afraid of change and are able to balance a large network of site- and corperate stakeholders while successfully leading change on the a major production site, in Belgium (Genk) and in the Netherlands (Geleen). Not one day will be the same in this role!</p><p></p><p><strong>The Position</strong></p><p>In this role, you will hold key responsibilities, including:</p><ul> <li>Integrating seamlessly with global and local teams at Envalior.</li> <li>Enhancing and standardizing financial processes and reporting, while implementing best practices – this includes strategic restructuring initiatives impacting ICT Finance systems.</li> <li>Having a dotted-line responsibility for two financial controllers who will assist in managing financial controls for various sites.</li> <li>Effectively collaborating in virtual teams across regions and globally, engaging multiple stakeholders both within and outside Envalior.</li> <li>Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process for site CAPEX and FOOP, providing detailed explanations, analyses, and recommendations to Corporate and Operations Management.</li> <li>Leading strategic decisions, approving, and safeguarding product costing, raw material, cycle design, and output consumption analysis, as well as supporting category management and site-related business decisions.</li> <li>Evaluating significant business cases, contributing to Continuous Improvement and Business Operations Strategy analyses.</li> <li>Reviewing capital expenditure proposals and completing IRR assessments.</li> <li>Carrying out responsibilities within the applicable QESH framework, while proposing enhancements to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.</li> </ul><p>In this role, you will report directly to the Global Manufacturing Controller for Performance Materials/Specialty Materials.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE</strong></p><p>You should have:</p><ul> <li>A Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance, and/or professional certifications like CMA, CPA, or an MBA.</li> <li>A wealth of experience as a finance professional (10+ years), with comprehensive knowledge of Finance and Control processes across varied business operations, SCM, and manufacturing sectors.</li> <li>The ability to navigate a complex network of stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in project management, particularly in the digitalization of financial processes.</li> <li>A familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.</li> <li>A solid understanding of IFRS.</li> <li>Experience using SAP, particularly in product costing, project management, and FICO.
