We are seeking a Security Alarm Apprentice to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of IDS, CCTV, Card Access, systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the security industry. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of security alarm systems while contributing to the team's success. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of various security systems as used by FCB.
• Learn to identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to those systems and provide effective solutions. 
• Support senior technicians in conducting regular testing and verification of equipment to ensure functionality and compliance. 
• Participate in the documentation of service and installation activities, including preparing reports and maintaining accurate records of work performed. 
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all projects are completed within the designated timeframe and meet quality standards. 
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment at all times. 
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to security alarm technology and safety procedures. 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about security alarm technology. 
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from senior technicians. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work. 
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools as required. 
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. 
• Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.
• Must be flexible regarding travel on demand.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational or Technical Training in electrical systems or related field is a plus. 

 

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance.
