Assistant Store Manager - Operations & Sales

About the Role:

• Deliver sales to plan and customer experience metrics and shrink to target.

• Leadership in inventory ordering, receiving and cycle counts for the location

• Manage return processes and service diagnostics

• Monitor store sales performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Consistent review of inventory levels, out of stocks and opportunistic sales. 

• Leadership in inventory ordering, receiving and cycle counts for the location

• Manage operational needs for the location including but not limited too, Daily Audits, store standards and execution, visual merchandising,

• Assist in managing store budgets and controlling expenses to maximize profitability

• Key contact for facilities, security, cleaning and outside vendors

• Monitor shrink reports and investigate/resolve any inventory discrepancies, swiftly coaching store experts and providing additional training or support when needed.

• Ensure compliance of all operating policies and procedures

• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the Dyson experience, leveraging available data to measure performance and affect change

• Leadership in in scheduling and staff optimization. 

• Create a culture of consistent feedback through in-the-moment coaching, performance conversations, and follow up

• Invest in team development by identifying and addressing opportunities for growth

• Support daily operations and customer experience through scheduling and payroll controls

• Ensuring that all Experts adhere to corporate processes and safety standards

• Carrying keys and alarm codes; opening and closing the store, disarming and arming alarm system

• Managing bank deposits, balance point of sale drawers and safe

• Manage day to day store operations and standards. 

About You:

• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, some weekdays, holidays and as business dictates.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing, retail setting required

• 2+ years of retail management experience required

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred

• Experience in leading sales and operations in a retail store required

• P & L strongly preferred

• Experience working with or in a premium or luxury brand strongly preferred

• Ability to understand the Dyson brand and uphold its integrity

• Ability to motivate, inspire, drive results, and lead a growing team in an ever-changing business environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all audiences and levels of leadership

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task

• Bi-lingual language proficiency is a plus
