Description

Plastic Product Formers (PPF-McKenzie), a subsidiary of VP Racing Fuels, has an immediate need for a skilled, flexible, and motivated candidate to fill a Facility Services/Utility Warehouse Worker role.

This position has a dual function. The position is primarily Facility Services:

• Cleaning and maintaining all breakrooms, kitchen areas, warehouse, offices and common areas
• Ensuring clean and well-stocked restrooms
• Sweeping, mopping, garbage disposal
• Seasonal cleaning tasks, mowing, etc.
• Any other duties assigned by manager

The secondary function of this role includes Utility Warehouse Work (When Needed):

• Filling in on a production/assembly line when/if needed
• Prepping, packing, wrapping, bagging of product when needed
• Any other General Warehouse duties assigned by manager

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•  Ability to maintain safe work environments.
•  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and di vide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•  Ability to operate a forklift and other rolling stock, as needed (e.g. – skid steer, man-lift,

Education and Experience:

•  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Physical Demands:

•  Requires heavy lifting.
•  Requires Standing for 8-10 hours per day
•  Requires Kneeling/Squatting for 4-6 hours per day
•  Requires Bending/Stooping for 4-6 hours per day
•  Requires use of a Pallet Jack to move palletized containers. Palletized containers weigh about 1,296 lbs.
•  Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 36-55 lbs from 2-4 hours per day. Regular lifting and carrying objects that weigh less than 15 lbs from 8-10 hours per day.
•  Job requires a significant amount of time spent outside being subject to various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

•  Work performed outside as well as an inside warehouse environment.
•  Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils and weather conditions.
