We are looking for an automotive Sr. Engineer for the front underbody. If you’re the kind of person who sees a problem, develops a solution, and engineers an improvement no one’s asked for yet, then we want to talk with you!Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and be excellent at multi-tasking.

Role

• Design and engineer the next generation body structure systems, subsystems, and components, from concept to production
• Develop innovative design solutions based on a deep understanding of engineering fundamentals coupled with in-depth industry experience from concept to launch
• Guide the design engineering team to create well-structured 2D & 3D CAD models of parts, assemblies, joining
• Closely work with engineering partners in studio, manufacturing, dimensional group, analysis groups

Qualifications

• Experience with composites
• Experience with GD&T
• Experience in technology, system and supplier selection
• Experience in full life cycle development from concept to prototype to full production
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience

Education

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or higher
