Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a part-time position in the area for a hybrid-remote assignment.
Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday during normal business hours with only 2 short onsite visits per month (about 1hr in length) and the remaining hours completed remotely via telehealth.
Hours: 8-12hrs per month (80% remote)
Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience.
Commute Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients, including identifying potential for disordered eating behaviors, nutritional deficiencies related to substance use, and the impact of medications used in addiction treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, considering substance use history, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the impact of medications on appetite and metabolism.
- Provide group nutrition education and counseling
- Collaborate closely with IDT team
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to optimize outcomes and address any challenges to treatment adherence.
- Address weight-related concerns and support patients with weight management challenges, considering the potential impact of substance use on weight and body composition.
- Screen for and address disordered eating behaviors , including early identification and intervention for individuals at risk, recognizing that substance use disorders often co-occur with eating disorders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with all relevant regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
- Minimum of 1 year clini
