Staffing Manager III – New Program

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Staffing Manager to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Work closely with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent
· Manage the Recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting
· Develop and implement a comprehensive staffing strategy aligned with the program’s objectives, ensuring the right mix of skillsets and resources are available to meet program demands
· Collaborate with Recruitment, HR, Security, and Sub-contractors to identify, attract, and onboard talent for various positions, considering both technical expertise and cultural fit
· Oversee relationships with sub-contractor companies, ensuring their adherence to staffing timeliness, quality, and contractual obligations
· Coordinates with line managers on new and existing requirements and coordinate with back-office functions.
· Provide regular updates to senior management on staffing status, challenges, and solutions, helping to maintain transparency and alignment with program objectives

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
· Five or more (5+) years of related experience
· If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
· If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
· Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
· The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
· The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
