IT Support - Project Management Lead

Easterseals New Jersey is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our team as the Project Management Lead within the IT service area!

As the Project Management Lead, IT, you will drive the successful planning and execution of technology initiatives that enhance service delivery across the organization. Partner with service line leaders and staff to implement IT solutions, ensuring projects align with organizational goals, timelines, and operational needs. Coordinate stakeholders, manage risks, and optimize workflows to improve efficiency, collaboration, and technology adoption within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Communicates professionally (both written and verbal) with all levels of the organization.
• Works consistently with hardware and software programs essential to the strategic initiatives of the organization.
• Travel throughout the state as needed.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with service line leaders, staff, and cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently.
• Coordinate and allocate internal resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, track milestones, and monitor progress using appropriate tools.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Organize and lead meetings, both in-person and virtual, to drive project completion.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including training materials and user manuals.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Assign tasks based on team strengths and experience while managing project risks and changes.
• Track and measure project success, conduct post-project evaluations, and implement improvements.
• Report progress and escalate issues as needed to ensure project alignment and success.
• Establish and enforce project governance frameworks.
• Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop KPIs for project performance tracking and reporting.
• Improve project execution efficiency and manage change control processes.
• Maintain a risk register, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated.
• Serve on change management committee.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years of project management experience (PMP preferred).
• Experience with governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, or GDPR).
• Strong data reporting skills in Power BI and Excel.
• Strong knowledge and experience with change management and project management methodologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and client-facing communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed.
