Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance System Manager to join our Ferguson Finance Decision Support team!

The Finance Systems Manager will play a meaningful role in our Decision Support Center, focusing on the implementation, administration, and optimization of the Anaplan platform. You will work closely with partners to gather requirements, develop robust data models, and build compelling visualizations that drive business decisions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your experience in Anaplan to help Ferguson transition their FP&A processes from EPBCS to Anaplan, drive business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across various groups.

Location:

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.  

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a Team of four associates; training, coaching, leading and development of associates.

  • Provide frequent, clear, and constructive feedback with Team members on performance and goals.

  • Perform robust semi-annual performance reviews.

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Anaplan models based on business requirements.

  • Design and develop Anaplan modules, lists, dashboards, and other functionalities to support business needs.

  • Ensure data/metadata integration and integrity between Anaplan and other systems, including Oracle ERP, FCCS, EDMCS and PBI.

  • Responsible for Anaplan end-to-end processes.

  • Manage user access, security settings, and permissions within the Anaplan environment.

  • Work closely with partners to gather requirements and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions.

  • Act as an authority on Anaplan capabilities and recommend enhancements to support business objectives.

  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting and maintenance of Anaplan models and applications.

  • Responsible for system patching and testing.

  • Develop internal SOPs and training documentation for Teams and end users; conduct user training sessions.

  • Stay updated on Anaplan features, functionalities, and standard processes to recommend improvements and optimizations.

  • Responsible for SOX compliance for business and system processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.

  • Proven experience as an Anaplan model builder/administrator, with at least 6 years in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture, capabilities, and limitations.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with Anaplan modeling, UX design, and integrations.

  • 3+ years of experience in leading and developing teams.

  • East Coast working hours availability 8-5 pm required.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into Anaplan solutions.

  • Ability to lead and develop team and team deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities effectively.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Preferred:

  • Anaplan certifications are a plus.

  • Experience in large-scale financial system implementations.

  • Experience with SOX compliance requirements.
