Automotive Float Cashier

Job DetailsJob Location: Plattsburgh, NY 12901Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 HourlyDELLA Auto Group is seeking a full-time Float Cashier to join our team. As a Float Cashier, you will work at multiple locations in Plattsburgh to cover for other cashiers' days away from work and you will play a significant role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience by providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing all forms of payments. This is an individual contributor role within the Auto industry, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately process all forms of payments including cash, credit card, and check
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering any questions and addressing any concerns
- Maintain a neat and organized cashier area
- Process all paperwork and ensure accuracy in all transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues effectively and efficiently
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Provide support to other departments as needed

 
QualificationsRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role       is preferred
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and        evenings
