About the role: This person is responsible for leading the development and execution of performance and automation testing solutions. Looking for someone that has experience building and enhancing testing frameworks for teams.  

About the team: As a QTE this team supports the  first-ever Faculty Information System for higher education institutions. Driving innovation within our advamced Tech stack

Responsibilities

• Configuring, maintaining, and/or administering testing tools or environments.
• Developing and executing automated and performance testing for assigned projects to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification. 
• Interacting with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards. 
• Executing automated and performance tests working with QA/Testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts. 
• Reporting issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, documenting accordingly.

Requirements

• Possess current experience with Typescript/Javascript. This is a critical requirement for the role

• Have current experience with either  Webdriver.io, Cypress, Playwright. This is a critical requirement for the role.
• Possess extensive understanding of QA methodologies. 
• Have the ability to develop and execute complex automated and performance testing.
