Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer (all genders) to join the AdTech tribe and Contribute to the creation of our next-generation data platform that helps our partners - such as restaurants but also local shops - to scale their businesses.

About the AdTech Tribe
 

We are here to build the best ad solutions for the local delivery market. 

The AdTech tribe is implementing solutions for running ads campaigns, serving best matching ads on the brands’ websites and mobile apps, tracking and collecting information about users' interaction with ads, and building data pipelines that enable timely reporting and insights, in addition to state-of-the-art machine learning models. 

We are deploying often and moving very fast with self-sufficient cross-functional squads that work collaboratively according to the “we build it, we run it” principle.

Qualifications

Your mission 

• Assist in establishing and maintaining engineering quality standards and provide technical support to team members.

• Designing and building ETL or ELT data pipelines that handle the tribe-wide analytics requirements. 

• Contribute to designing and developing data services or applications that meet business needs.

• Documenting processes, configurations, and incidents in order to ensure know-how sharing and full transparency.

• Contribute to tooling that improves data quality, CI/CD workflows, and data observability.

• Independently participate in prototype projects for implementation of technology decisions, tech, and technical debt reduction.

Your heroic skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• You are a pragmatic engineer who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner

• Experience building large-scale production-grade ETL pipelines and data systems and services, including operational excellence and reliability engineering.

• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages Python, Java, GoLang.

• Experience with GCP and/or AWS public clouds.

• Experience common with operating SQL and NoSQL databases at scale (including, MySQL/PostgreSQL, as well as OLAPs like BigQuery and/or Redshift).

• You are eager to work in a fast-paced, fault-tolerant, and agile environment.

Nice to have

• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new tools quickly.

• Previous experience within the AdTech technology.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes etc

• Familiarity with distributed stream processing frameworks, like Apache Flink, Apache Beam, and/or Kafka Stream
