Let’s go!</p> <p> </p></div><p><strong>Your mission</strong></p> <p>As a Payment & Risk Operations Specialist at Bitpanda, your mission is to conduct pre-execution transaction monitoring to prevent exposure to financial crime and system abuse, applying first-principles reasoning to assess unusual activity by using evidence and data to balance risk and impact in a way that serves both the company and the user.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess suspicious activity in fiat and crypto transactions; determine and take ownership of appropriate mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Analyse blockchain data to inform risk decisions with actionable insights.</li> <li>Provide direct customer support via email and live chat, ensuring clear and professional communication.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams on escalated cases, ensuring SLA adherence and contributing to operational improvements.</li> <li>Support senior team members by compiling insights on emerging fraud trends and assisting with relevant reporting.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a strong commitment to fraud prevention through proactive, impact-driven intervention methods.</li> <li>Apply practical, well-reasoned problem-solving grounded in data and logic, with a focus on efficiency and meaningful outcomes.</li> <li>Communicate effectively, operate with sound j
