SAP MM Functional Analyst

Job Summary:

The SAP MM Functional Analyst provides strong technical expertise and perform configuration in SAP Production Planning (PP)/ SAP Material Management (MM) / SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and SAP Inventory Management (IM) modules of SAP. The successful candidate will have experience in performing SAP business processes design, configuration, and testing within the context of both project and production support efforts. This role uses analytical skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the business environment to achieve business goals.

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitor and resolve production issues and requests that are submitted by users through ticketing and service requests.
• Support and maintain SAP workflows, creation of plants, and integration with business partners and subsidiaries.
• Work with technical resources to construct custom functionality and/or reports.
• Facilitates the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing and supporting SAP Materials Management to enhance business functionality and performance.
• Supports implementation of SAP functionality, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP modules.
• Conduct unit tests, integration tests and system integration security testing.
• Working knowledge and testing in various SAP ECC modules including MM, SD, QM, PP, WM, and/or PLM.
• Manipulates systems (SAP) with configuration and coding tools to support business needs.
• Analyze and resolve master data issues that may impact system performance.
• Knowledge of MM Master Data, integration points, and data flow.
• Support and ensure integrity of intercompany processes in SAP.
• Develop specifications and support interfaces, data conversions, system extensions and reporting.
• Make recommendations on where business processes or scenarios can be optimized.
• Keep abreast of IT initiatives and helps evaluate and communicate impact to end users.
• Carries out complex assignments requiring development of new or improved procedures.
• Provides knowledge of industry best practices, SAP Methodology, principles, concepts and techniques.
• Educates and trains users on why and how processes and transactions are conducted.
• Utilize automated tools to improve the support and the implementation of SAP.
• Balance many changes at once in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• 5-7 years’ hands on experience implementing and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4 for multinational companies.
• Strong in-depth understanding of SAP MM, Recipe and BOM’s.
• Some SAP ABAP Development and debugging experience.
• End to End process knowledge and integration points between ECC and SCM including Master Data, MM, PP, WM, FI and SD.
• Bachelor’s Degree. Industry certification from SAP or related business area is highly desirable.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving.
• Knowledge of Product Costing is a plus.
• Experienced in testing interfaces including CIF, RFC’s, and custom interfaces.

PAY RANGE:  $110k - 125k
