The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>About the Role</p><p>The AI Foundation Services team designs and builds high-performance backend systems and APIs that power intelligent applications across diverse industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to architect and maintain secure, scalable systems capable of handling millions of requests.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>System Design: Design, implement, and optimize APIs and backend systems using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.</li><li>Scalability: Build and maintain fault-tolerant microservices for data processing and AI integration.</li><li>Performance: Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and latency.</li><li>Operations: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for high-performance production systems.</li><li>Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and ensure best practices for security and compliance.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience: 5+ years of experience developing backend systems, focusing on API design and high-scale production environments.</li><li>Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python (including asynchronous programming) and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containers (Docker, K8s).</li><li>API Expertise: Proven experience designing and maintaining REST APIs, including websockets and webhooks.</li><li>Data Knowledge: Solid understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and database design (SQL, ORMs).</li><li>Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).</li></ul><p>Preferred Skills</p><ul><li>Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, RAG workflows, or vector databases.</li><li>Experience with high-throughput/real-time systems (message queues, event-driven architecture).</li></ul><p>Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p>
