We are looking for a Customer Service Manager to join our Professional & Specialty Solution (P&SS) team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As a Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for the daily supervision and direction of customer service representatives, delivering customer satisfaction and collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Controlling, and Operations team to achieve financial objectives within the business.

• Leading a team of sales support representatives to ensure timely and effective service delivery to customers.
• Engaging with external customers and supply chain functions to resolve product, pricing, invoicing, and inventory issues.
• Collaborating with the P&SS Commercial team and senior leadership to make localized and regional operational decisions.
• Ensuring policy and procedural compliance at the operational level through keen attention to detail.
• Supporting BASF-wide North America Customer Care processes by effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks.
• Coaching and developing team members to help them reach their full potential while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

If you...

• Have a Bachelor degree and 8 years' working experience.
• Have strong business and financial acumen, along with robust problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Have experience in developing and coaching team members to drive performance and create a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Are proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrating strong computer skills.
• Have proven negotiation skills and experience in project management or leadership roles.
• Can decisively and efficiently address customer-facing and process issues while delivering exceptional service.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
