Players Club Representative

Specific Job Functions:

• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with repeat guests to the property as well as market and recruit new guests to the property.
• Research and evaluate guest accounts using the Players Club system and /or other software programs.
• Reprint lost or stolen cards.
• Issue guest complimentary items in accordance with departmental and property standards
• Research and resolve guest issues effectively and professionally.
• Protect the confidentiality of Company documents and files under immediate control.
• Greet guests, answer questions and be an informational resource regarding guest inquiries. 
• Verify and ID guests to ensure players are of the legal gaming age.
• Assist guests with inquiries and problems regarding Players Club and the Casino
• Promptly answer in-bound telephone calls.
• Assist guests with questions about booking room reservations
• Effectively communicate with a radio.
• Assist guests and internal employees with requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Keep up to date on Slot Marketing activities and events at the property.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward guests as well as other employees.
• Complete all necessary paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Promote Circus Circus and all current promotions/entertainment.
• Adhere to Circus Circus policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
• Promote the Player's Club and its benefits to casino guests.
• Conduct promotions and help facilitate special events and entertainment.
• Relay information to guests about all promotions, entertainment and events.
• Assist with database clean-up.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Players Club or Casino, preferred, but willing to train if all other qualifications are met.
• At least One (1) year previous guest service experience required.
• Must possess math skills to make change with coin and currency. 
• Must have strong organizational skills to function effectively with attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to provide quality service to guests.
• Must have experience in performing basic computer data entry.
• Must possess the ability to maintain manual dexterity to work on computers and work with money.
• Must have normal vision range and absence of color blindness, ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols is required.
• Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to bend and twist without restriction, move about freely, and walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to withstand indoor environmental conditions such as crowds, noise, dust, varying lighting levels and smoke, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Must maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Circus Circus standards.
• Must work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
