Are you an engineer with a strong electromechanical background, hands-on experience, and an interest in project engineering and project management? Do you want to contribute to the automation of container terminals worldwide? Then this position is for you!
As a Project Engineer, you will be part of our Project Engineering team and actively contribute to the execution of automation projects around the world. You will be involved in the design, installation, and commissioning of our automation solutions.
You will report directly to the Project Engineering Team Lead.
Your role:
Technical documentation: You create technical project documentation (mechanical, electrical, IT, hardware design, health & safety, etc.).
Customer interaction: You visit customers for onsite design workshops and support the project managers.
Project execution and follow-up: You oversee and participate in the installation of our systems on-site, working alongside our technicians and subcontractors. You ensure commissioning and provide support during the startup (go-live) of the automation solutions.
Collaboration: You work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, technicians, and software developers to successfully complete projects within the agreed timeline, scope, and quality standards.
Product knowledge: You develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Camco products and automation processes.
Profile
Education: You hold a master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering (Technology), Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in a technical role or you are a recent graduate and already have solid hands-on technical experience..
Technical expertise: You have experience with electrical and mechanical installations. Experience in terminal automation or industrial applications is a plus.
Software knowledge: Experience with Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools is an advantage.
Travel willingness: You are open to international travel (30%).
