Job Description
Atlas Technical Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / New Hampshire Environmental Operations to lead and grow our New Hampshire and Northeast New England practice. This leadership role is responsible for technical excellence, operational performance, staff development, and business growth across a broad range of environmental consulting services, with a focus on contaminated site assessments and remediation in NH.
The successful candidate will bring a balance of technical depth, people leadership, and business development capability, with a proven ability to manage complex client programs while developing high-performing teams and maintaining strong financial results.
Position can be based out of our Manchester, NH or Woburn, MA offices with hybrid options.
Core Responsibilities
Operation & Technical Leadership
- Direct and oversee the development, delivery, and performance of environmental services, including:
- Lead site assessment and remediation projects under NHDES Contaminated Site Management Rules and Petroleum Remediation Program with a large retail petroleum and bulk storage client base
- Underground Storage Tank (UST) assessment, remediation, and closure the Environmental Due Diligence (Phase I & II ESAs)
- Emergency spill response management and support requiring occasional off-hours and weekend work.
- Other related environmental services as business needs evolve
- Provide technical support in area of expertise to other regional and national staff
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable environmental regulations, codes, standards, and Atlas policies and procedures
- Perform or direct QA/QC reviews of reports, proposals, client communications, and regulatory submissions
Project & Financial Management
- Manage or oversee environmental projects, ensuring:
- On-time and on-budget delivery
- Compliance with contractual and technical requirements
- Maintenance of project-level profitability and financial performance
- Prepare, review, and approve project propos
