Position Requirements

Qualifications Required in the Job:

• Finance or Accounting bachelor's degree and/or MBA preferred
• Successful progress towards completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 combo) required or attainable within six months of hire
• Strong critical thinking skills necessary. Ability to assist in the solving of complex, non-routine problems.
• Experience with manager selection and due diligence, fund management, and/or multi-asset portfolios is preferred.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, other software programs (Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, Tableau, etc.) and/or programming languages (Python, R, SQL).

Minimum Years of Experience Required

• 2-4 years of working experience preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in related field preferred

St. Louis preferred.
 

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.  Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing.
