Years later, we’re still leading that charge.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Development Department</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>The Development team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way. The team also manages Vantage’s build partners to success through technical feedback and review, and actively participating in review of schedule and budget.  Many times, a role like this at other companies is purely oversight.  One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our Development Teams are given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process.  When compared to external resources, our internal team can ensure the key stakeholders are engaged in the decision-making process to align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals.  This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results. </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Position Description</span></b></p><p></p><p>Vantage is looking for an ambitious Senior Project Manager to drive excellence in project management, systems use, standardisation, and coordination efforts across a wide spectrum of ongoing construction projects. Must be able to foster a positive and collaborative working environment. This role is based in Milan.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Essential Job Functions</span></b></p><ul><li>Establish the procedure for communication between the wider Vantage team, the consultant team and Contractors and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that this procedure is observed at all times.</li><li>Establish the Change Management Process for the project and manage the process by liaising with the Vantage team, consultant team and Contractors in clarifying all necessary scope, justification and technical detail. Assist the Construction Director in the communication of any instructions under the process.</li><li>Manage the Vantage team, consultant team and Contractor to establish all key project processes to ensure the project’s delivery and monitor these processes reporting and making recommendations to the Construction Director.</li><li>Manage the Vantage team, consultant team and Contractors to establish, review and regularly update the Project Risk Register. Manage, agree and monitor Risk Mitigation Plans and provide input into quantitative risk analysis reviews.</li><li>Prepare and issue for the Construction Director approval a monthly Project Manager’s CSA &amp; MEP report, weekly status update reports and provide input into other stakeholder reports and presentations as may be required.</li><li>Proactively manage and monitor the performance of the consultant team, Contractor and vendors and report to the Construction Director.</li><li>Proactively lead  the wider VANTAGE team, consultant team and co-ordinate the preparation of alternative viability studies, feasibility studies, sensitivity analyses and investment appraisals and drive implementation of outcome in time and in budget.</li><li>Support in discussions with neighbours and other third parties.
