Location: Cambridge, UK or remote in the UK, with regular travel to Cambridge. International travel as required. 
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a. full-time equivalent, dependent on experience
Basis: Permanent; full-time, part-time or flexible.
Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK.

The role

The Raspberry Pi Foundation’s work is entering an exciting phase as we look to further expand Experience AI globally through a network of mission-aligned partners. Developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind, Experience AI is a set of world-leading resources designed to help teachers and students understand artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Reporting to the Director of Global Partnerships, the Senior Global Partnerships Manager will lead the expansion of Experience AI through a global network of partners. You will have proven experience establishing and growing international partnerships, ideally in an education setting, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team across multiple geographies. You will be confident building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, capable of managing multiple competing strands of work and financially literate with a track record of managing large grant-making processes. You will be an excellent manager with experience of building and mentoring a high performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Experience AI partnership strategy and approach to long-term sustainability, working in collaboration with the Director of Global Partnerships.
  • Oversee the identification and assessment of potential Experience AI partners globally. Ensure that partnerships are mission-aligned and maximise impact for underserved and educationally disadvantaged young people and communities. 
  • Lead Experience AI partnerships through a team of Global Partnership Managers, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered to a high standard. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of our work, identifying and correcting challenges that are impacting our ability to meet outcomes in both the short and long term. 
  • Oversee the process of awarding grants to partner organisations including due diligence and contracting. Manage large budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to priorities and we follow best practice in grant management. 
  • Ensure the development and improvement of Experience AI systems and processes, maintaining quality as the program grows.
  • Lead, manage and mentor a high-performing team. Provide guidance and support to teams in core markets to expand Experience AI in their country.
  • Develop, maintain and leverage effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, building trust and confidently navigating challenges.
  • Collaborate across our Learning, Marketing, Digital Products, Fundraising, and Impact teams to deliver, evaluate, promote, and report on Experience AI partnerships.
  • Confidently represent Experience AI at relevant external events and meetings, raising the programme's global profile and presence.

Experience and personal attributes

  • Experience of developing and leading international partnerships in education settings, ideally involving digital skills, computing, or digital making.
  • Substantial programme management experience, including managing successful delivery of complex initiatives at scale.
  • Experience of grant management processes and understanding of best practice.
  • Experienced leader with the ability to build diverse teams, support them to do great work, and manage cross team collaboration. Ideally, you will have experience of managing remote teams in different geographies.
