Instructional Assistant, Middle School (NE) (Part-time) - Monsignor Slade Catholic School, Glen Burnie MD

The Instructional Assistant, Middle School will provide support to teachers in a classroom setting. This support can include tasks such as grading assignments, preparing materials for class, and providing one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional help. This position will work 15-19 hours per week. 

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
• Assists with instruction and prepares teaching materials/supplies as directed by the teacher.
• Assists students with instructional concepts.
• Ensures that arrival and dismissal procedures and conducted in a safe and orderly manner.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants, staff, and administration.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma and 90-hour childcare certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting.
• An appreciation for young students and their families.
• Must be an active practicing Catholic.

Pay Rate:  $17.00, hourly 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
