From your PASSION to ours

As a Customer  Sales Advisor, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to supporting the sales efforts with assigned  customers to drive growth, deliver revenue, and enhance profitability. The role includes leveraging customer-specific programs and providing  category management expertise to optimize product assortments and maximize  sales opportunities. Additionally, the Customer  Sales Advisor  will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective sales  strategies, and  to align duties with the company's goals and values.


  

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Partner with CCM to update and manage internal trade planning systems (Vistex and Customer Planners)
  • Submit contracts to the customers as needed
  • Manage customer facing relationship with Certco/Woodman’s
  • Lead In-Store (Broker and TSM’s) efforts for Hy-Vee, Fareway and Certco. This includes creating monthly priorities, sell sheets, day-to-day emails and data
  • Conduct Quarterly business reviews
  • Utilize B/W Shipment Data for various tasks
  • Support CCM on all KPI executions
  • Analyze syndicated data, household panel data, and customer-specific insights (Circana/Nielsen/Numerator) to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop customer programs in collaboration with Category Leadership and distributors to drive incremental sales, increase distribution, and expand share of shelf with retailers.
  • Develop and execute in-store marketing programs, point-of-sale materials and merchandising initiatives that enhance shopper experience and conversion.
  • Coordinate all in-store execution efforts and recommend adjustments to ensure activation plans are delivered on time, on budget, in full, and in the most effective way.  
  • Manage third-party vendors (POS material suppliers, etc) to ensure the timely and on-budget execution of sales strategies. 
  • Perform regular trade visits to identify opportunities and provide solutions to drive the incremental sales.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. 
  • Generates input for sales forecast meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 


Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:


Education

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A major in Business Administration, Marketing,  and or Finance is preferred.

Experience

  • 4+ years in account management, distributor  management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company experience     is required.


Work Conditions

  • Travel is required occasionally.
  • Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project needs
