Thermal Integration and Aerodynamics Intern

As a part of the Thermal Integration and Aerodynamics team, you will be working with various aspects of thermal systems, including bench and vehicle level testing, and also get an opportunity to work on aero and sensor contamination testing. You will work closely with the core team to identify and develop new concepts for improving the systems, and investigate and coordinate issues related to existing systems. You will also get an opportunity to work with 1D and 3D CFD-Thermal models to assess the overall performance of the system.

Technical Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience with thermal systems/simulation and strong knowledge on thermodynamics and heat transfer principles
• Background working with aerodynamics
• Worked with 1D simulation tools, such as GT Power products or Amesim

Bonus qualifications

• Experience with electric vehicles and electric vehicle components
• Worked with 3D CFD models and application to aerodynamics
• CAD software experience, like CATIA

CompensationThe monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
