The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Acting as one central point of contact for the project, both internally and externally. Coordinate internal resources, client and third parties/vendors (as needed) for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the project’s scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Work with clients to define expected project outcomes and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor, track and report progress. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university AND a minimum of (7) seven years of experience in Health Information Project Management

OR

  • High School diploma from an accredited institution AND a minimum of (10) ten years of equivalent experience in Health Information Project Management

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Knowledge of Solventum products
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Experience using collaboration tools to manage and communicate with remote teams
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information to other individuals and team
  • Proven ability to maintain a positive attitude in a team environment
  • Ability to travel
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical problem solving and organizational skills

Work location: Remote

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic
