THE SALESFORCE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT POSITIONSunnova is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect with development experience to join its dynamic team. The Technical Architect will work closely with application teams to help them build applications on Salesforce. The candidate must possess proven Salesforce architecture experience and familiarity with all aspects of the SDLC. 
SALESFORCE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES•As a Technical Leader at Sunnova you will provide a deep expertise in Salesforce Technical Architecture, designing, developing, implementing applications and services on Salesforce platform. •Provide thought leadership to monitor, track, and review delivery of solutions to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.•Plan how large projects will be delivered, oversee the technical/solution design and implementation on Salesforce, applying Salesforce architecture best practices.•Provide technical guidance, mentor/coach staff, and contribute to development team.•Ensure end-to-end solution integrity, including integration to other systems at Sunnova like AWS, MuleSoft, legacy systems and 3rd party software.•Proactively communicate risks associated with solution design integrity to key stakeholders.•Assess new tools and software, perform POCs, and offer recommendations to optimize the enterprise Salesforce landscape.•Collaborate with business functions and other IT teams to define, plan, model, govern, and implement Salesforce capabilities.•Effectively communicates with department leadership, Project Managers, Infrastructure and Application Managers, etc. as required.•Monitors and assists with the maintenance and support of the infrastructure environment within the Salesforce environment.•Collaborates with other IT resources and vendors to resolve application and/or infrastructure related issues to the existing technology environment.•Adhere to company policies around change control processes.•Perform any other development related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline.•12+ years of experience with application development.•4+ years of experience as Technical Architect working on Salesforce platform.•6+ years of experience working as Developer using Apex.•Experience with designing and deploying Salesforce Application using Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components, Integrations, etc.. •Experience building Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes using GitHub and Salesforce.•Abilities to review / share feedback on Salesforce coding best practices supporting application scalability.•Ability to work across multiple projects/priorities while maintaining sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.•Experience with Agile/Scrum software development.•Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, along with a determination to tackle challenges.•Experience with at least one of the following applications of salesforce like Field Service Lightning or Service Cloud.
