The HW Organization provides engineering design, integration and production to core radar, sonar, torpedo, and combat system competencies (process and control, integration and test, power systems, torpedo and sonar electronics, receivers and exciters, antennas and microwave subassemblies).

What You Will Do

  • Lead management of Electrical Engineering Labs and Test Engineering’s support of production programs

  • Work with the department manager to help staff multiple programs, control overhead costs, develop and deliver employee performance reviews, and lead audit participation

  • Provide support to management at the HW leadership level and the engineering level

  • Lead a sphere of up to 20 employees who will depend on the leader’s leadership to guide their careers and to maximize their potential and effectiveness.          

                                                   

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:

    • Experience in managing engineering labs to include day-to-day tasking, safety/quality audits, and safety/quality compliance

    • Experience onboarding and offboarding new employees

    • Experience with Undersea and/or Radar production programs

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in Undersea and/or Radar labs and/or test engineering.

  • Experience in a production environment

  • Existing Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Top secret clearance with interim clearance

  • Ability to successfully interact and relate with people of different experience levels and backgrounds

  • Strong desire to support production programs and oversee test engineers and technicians

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
